Over The Moon

This studio shoot was inspired by a cold night looking out the window into the woods with a fire raging in the background. The wind was still, and the moon was a stark shining crescent. It beamed down onto the snow below, illuminating the bare trees in the dead of winter. I thought to myself, how peaceful. How simple. How calming.

We love the Scandinavian design concept and wanted to replicate that here with a neutral color palette and minimal pieces. We love to add texture to monochromatic looks to give some interest and not allow the design to fall flat through the camera lens. The rental company, A Bushel & A Peck, wanted to keep the design for a bit after the shoot, so we made sure to use ingredients that were preserved or would dry with the design still being intact.
